More than a century ago, Dr. Maria Montessori created a method built on the developmental capacities of the child, a prepared environment and the spirit within. It offers hands-on materials, individual and small-group lessons, freedom of movement and the freedom to develop at one's own pace — all grounded in deep respect for the child.
Her Cosmic Education gives children a vision of the whole universe and their place within it, sparking wonder and a planetary consciousness. You don't need to convert to the entire Montessori system to benefit. As a certified Primary and Elementary Montessori Lead for 15 years, Jill Dianne helps educators bring these time-tested ideas into any classroom.
