Every child an activated peacekeeper
A strong classroom community is the foundation for everything else children learn. Inspired by Montessori peace education, we help educators create spaces where students feel safe, seen and responsible for the wellbeing of the group.
At the heart of this work is the Peace Table: a dedicated place where children pass a talking rose to express, listen, reflect and respond until an upset is resolved. With modeling, students learn to direct themselves to solutions — and teachers no longer have to settle every social issue alone. When we give children the tools to negotiate, everybody wins.

What is a Peace Table?
A Peace Table is a dedicated spot where two children meet to resolve a conflict. Passing a talking rose, one speaks while the other listens and repeats back what they heard, taking turns until they reach a resolution.
Does peace education work with older students?
Yes. The same principles — listening, reflection and shared responsibility — adapt naturally to upper elementary and middle school through community circles and student-led mediation.
How quickly will children use it on their own?
Every class is different. Heavy modeling is needed at first; with consistent daily practice, children steadily take ownership of the process and begin resolving issues independently.
